Safety First

Safety is a priority with KAHA Kids, and we believe should be with all events and organisers so please check all operators you use are compliant and are getting appropriate permits and meet all minimum standards required as you are now liable if they are not.

KAHA Kids is fully compliant under the new legislation and prides itself on its professionalism.

• Please note all equipment has operation restrictions with surfaces, wind speeds and weather conditions – we may have to close some equipment if these factor on the day of your event
• ALL our staff have been police vetted
• Certificates of registration for Amusement Devices
• Certificates for Bearing Pressure for Amusement Devices
• Full and comprehensive Public Liability Insurance, current OSH certification and appropriate council permits are carried with all KAHA KIds equipment that requires this.
• All our electrical equipment has been tested by approved agencies and has current compliance tags.
• Detailed R.A.M.S (Risk Analysis and Management Systems) are carried on site with all relevant pieces of equipment
• Our friendly staff have comprehensive training in all aspects of operations including Health and safety systems, in-depth knowledge of equipment, customer relations and crowd control.
• Kaha Kids owners are a member of NZOAD – New Zealand Operators of Amusement Devices
• We endeavour to be professional and presentable at all times, with clearly marked and easily distinguishable uniforms on all members of our staff, you and your participants will have no problems picking us out of a crowd.
• All participating volunteers are given a full safety briefing, fluorescent vests and safety laminates prior to your event’s commencement. KAHA Kids staff will be present to oversee equipment/volunteers.
• Again safety is our number one priority, we are more than happy to discuss/advise any and all safety queries and concerns you may have.
